Clinic resources
The actions described in this lesson require a Manager permission on your clinic.
On your Embodia account, you can define resources that are used during a consult but are limited in your clinic, and you want to check for scheduling conflict when booking a consult. Some example of clinic resources are exam rooms, ultrasound machines, exercise equipments, etc...
To manage your clinic resources, click on My clinic > Scheduling settings > Clinic resources.
Click on Add a resource, and in the popup form, enter:
- The Name of the resource
- The Maximum concurrent use count: This is the maximum number of consults that use this resource that can be scheduled concurrently.
For example, if your clinic only has 2 exam rooms, you can create a resource called "Exam rooms" and set the maximum concurrent use to 2. When scheduling a consult that uses this resource, Embodia will prevent you from completing the scheduling if there are already 2 overlapping consults that are using this resource.
Attaching clinic resources to your services or a consult
Once you've completed the setup of your clinic resources, you can attach them to one or more of your services by selecting them when setting up/updating your services:
